North of Manchester city center has situated a place for big business and big thinkers. You guessed right — we’re talking about the NOMA district. This futuristic area is still growing and developing, but it has already proved to be something out of this world! Offices of the largest corporations, trendy apartments, and upscale restaurants peacefully coexist on 20 acres in the center of Manchester.
Till now, NOMA remains a controversial topic for Mancunians. Some people swear by this district and all the value it brings to the city and its residents, while others believe that it turns this part of Manchester into a glamorous but soulless development. The choice is yours! In this district, you can afford the luxury of living in the acclaimed Moda Angel Gardens. Rentals in this building come with all possible amenities included, from wellness workshops and library to resident dining spaces to workspace if you’re tired of working in coffee shops. And, if your company decides to rent an office in NOMA, you can get to work in the blink of an eye. Sounds like a dream, huh?
One of the main purposes of NOMA is to create a space where you can live, work, and spend your free time. Stylish offices in the heart of Manchester already attracted many corporations and smaller businesses. For instance, Amazon made sure to secure a spot in this trendy location and opened here a first headquarter outside London in the UK. Other big names include Deloitte and WeWork. But, this is only the beginning, and we’re sure there are many more to join them!
We believe that many more restaurants will pop up in the area during the following months and years. After all, NOMA only keeps growing! But, even now, residents of the district have lots of great places to eat and have a drink. Don’t even start us on the dining available for the residents of Moda Angel Garden. Also, right nearby you can find the Michelin-starred restaurant Mana — of course, you have to book a table way in advance if you want to get in. If you want to have a bite in a less pretentious place, check out the Pasta Factory and Cafe North or head for a drink at the Angel pub or the Pilcrow pub.
Some might say that you don’t have to leave NOMA at all — if you work and live here, you have all kinds of restaurants, activities, and services at your fingertips. However, getting around will not be a problem if you decide to get out for a bit. The central location of the district will make it easy for you to walk to the Northern Quarter. There are also plenty of places to leave your bike or park a car. When it comes to public transportation, NOMA is located close to Manchester Victoria station and has three tram stops within 5 minutes walk.
