On Halfway Lake (aka Long Lake), we are located 10 minutes south of Barry's Bay, Ontario, a popular and well-known Madawaska Valley destination. We are in the Kaszuby region of the Valley, the first Polish settlement in Canada. The cottage is secluded, surrounded by forest from the south, east, west, and Halfway Lake to the north.
