Bass Lake is a smaller Muskoka Lake located 2 minutes from the southern shores of Lake Joseph - with its calm waters, this lake is ideal for all watersports! Our location is also known for its outstanding bass and pike fishing, and the small inlets along the coast are ideal for canoeing and kayaking. It is 2 hours from Toronto and just 8 minutes to Bala or Port Carling! The very popular Bass Lake Restaurant is located within a 5-minute walk from the cottage and serves many cottagers passing by from Lake Joseph, Rosseau, and Lake Muskoka.
