Seven romantically situated lakes and ponds at the heart of the Westerwald form the Westerwald lake region. Some of them were extended already in the 12th century, at the behest of the earl at Wied. The hilly landscape between 400 and 450 metres above sea level is characterised by these lakes totaling 225 hectares, amidst extensive deciduous and coniferous forests and wide natural shore areas. This holiday apartment is in the little village Steinen, only about five to ten minutes from this lake region. The apartment provides around 100m2 of space on two floors for a maximum of four people and has a separate entrance.
