About This House
Built when Gelting Castle received its present form, it was intended for the theater performances, some of which were very popular at the time, and some of which were self-written. However, it was almost more shaped by the generations of a gardener family who lived in this house. If you walk through your garden, run your hand over the box hedges and lift an apple from the ground, you may still feel something of your work in this large garden bordering on meadows and forests.
