Duart Tower is a category C listed tower house designed in the style of Alexander (Greek) Thompson who was famed for his Italianate style of architecture. There was a later addition to the house around 1900 in the Arts and Crafts style. It is a striking design which stands out above the shore and features in several publications. It has breathtaking views down Loch Long and beyond. Situated in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Duart Tower was built for the MacLeans of Duart Castle as a holiday home.
