Set on our hill farm ,wich pre dates the Roman conquest !
being one of the oldest steadings on Alston moor
The area was occupied pre Christ over 2,000 years ago emperor Hadrian built his now famous wall ! on 16 miles away and well worth a visit .
we have the footings of the early occupants "Roundhouses" on our land
