Welcome to Pop’s Dam Lakehouse & Lookout, a rustic, two-bedroom, pet-friendly lakehouse located on Lake Buchanan, an hour northwest of Austin and 1.5 hours from Austin Bergstrom Airport (driving times can vary depending on traffic/routes taken). Relax and unwind in this small community on the lake in the Texas Hill Country and enjoy exploring the lake, having refreshments on your two-story outdoor megabar, kicking back in your hammock, eating s’mores by the fire pit, playing yard games, and grilling on the gas grill/smoker combo. Due to fluctuating water levels, sometimes this cozy cabin offers lakefront access but not always. Currently, lake levels are low and guests can expect a 15 minute walk to access the lake.
