The home is ~1 mile from the C&O canal towpath, great for exploring cyclist in need of an overnight rest. Hikers too, we are about ½ mile from the Appalachian Trail. The shops and dining of downtown are within easy walking distance.
Built in the 1820's by the US Government, this home is the 2nd oldest privately owned home in Harpers Ferry. The US Government built the home as living quarters for Armorer's working at the US Armory at Harpers Ferry.
