The cottage is located on Spruce Head Island, which is accessible by a causeway linking it to the mainland with Port Clyde, South Thomaston, Rockland and Camden nearby. In the 1900’s, Spruce Head Island was an active quarry island.
Spruce Spray is truly the quintessential Maine cottage. The original section was constructed in 1965 as a summer cottage.
