'Falconhurst' was the name the Swiss Family Robinson gave to their home in the trees . . . an overlook that served as a home base for adventures. Our cottage is on a bluff amongst the shade on the west shore of Hamlin Lake. Below the bluff is one of the few true beaches on the lake, where the shallow water, unencumbered by a breakwater, gently gets deeper over a long distance at a gradual pace.
