The cottage has a characteristic farmhouse kitchen with oven and on the second floor there is a gas stove. The farm was built in 1900 and in 2007 was converted into the present vacation home.
The Bergumermeer is about 13.6 km away and the sandy beach (sandstone quarry) of the Strandheem is 7.4 km away. Drachten (15 km) is a city worth visiting during your stay.
