Rentberry Scholarship Program

Win $1,000 for sharing a story about your neighborhood.

Who’s Rentberry?

Rentberry is a decentralized home and apartment rental platform   designed to streamline the process of long-term renting by letting users complete all rental tasks online and in one place.

As we operate in the home rental niche, we know how expensive it can be to live off campus. With this in mind, we launched the Rentberry Scholarship Program to help talented students cover a part of their housing expenses.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the Rentberry Scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a legal U.S. resident between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Be enrolled in accredited academic institution (university or college)
  • Submit an original article that corresponds to the topic of competition
  • Understand and agree that your content might be used in Rentberry marketing

Scholarship Details

To apply for a scholarship, submit an essay of 900 - 1,000 words describing the neighborhood where you were born and raised. Share the unique and in-depth knowledge of your hometown. Please attach the images of your neighborhood (if any) as an illustration to your story.

All submitted articles will be reviewed by the Rentberry’s Contest Committee. Shortlisted applicants will be chosen based on the overall strength of application material. All submitted articles will be run through a plagiarism checker; only original pieces of writing will be allowed to participate.

Shortlisted participants will be announced on June 25, 2019. After that, we’ll be posting 3 articles per week on Rentberry’s blog and social networks until all pre-selected articles are published. The author whose article will receive the biggest number of social interactions (likes, shares, and comments) will be considered the winner and awarded $1,000.
