The cottage (tastefully converted from a former wine store and sometime watchman’s cottage) is spread over 2 floors, above a wine cellar, where guests can sample and buy the owner’s wines. On the first floor, there is a spacious, open-plan living area with a comfortable corner sofa, flat-screen TV, cosy wood-burning stove, which heats the house during the winter months, and a dining table.
